Ground Fixing Kits

All DryRainge systems require some form of ground fixing method to ensure they are safely and securely held in position in all weathers.

We offer two styles of fixing kit, the one you require determined upon the ground the Dry Rainge is to sit on. Either a “hard ground kit” or “soft ground kit” is essential to your Dry Rainge’s performance, whereas the “wheel’s kit” is an add-on which can be added later or supporting your lead ground fixing.

Hard Ground Fixing Kits

The hard ground fixing kit is designed to enable the Dry Rainge to be safely mounted onto surfaces such as concrete.

This system includes 4 brackets which bolt over the bottom bar of the Dry Rainge in of the four each of the corners. This is a fairly simple system but is highly effective and not too invasive of the surface the canopy is bolted into.

The beauty of this system is its strength and durability. Its is also incredible discrete and compact not interfering with any areas surrounding your Dry Rainge.

We would not advise this system is relocated without replacement of the bolts at least, new brackets may be required also. This is due to the nature of the solid surface the bolts and brackets are mounted into.

Soft Ground Fixing Kits

The soft ground fixing kit is in essence 4 very large and heavy duty pegs which assist in securing the Dry Rainge.

This system is suitable for a range of surfaces including: grass, wood chippings, some mattings and sand surfaces. Essentially if the ground which is to beneath your Dry Rainge is not totally solid this would be the appropriate fixing method.

The pegs used in this kit feature a corkscrew design to aid the user when installing or moving the Dry Rainge. The corkscrew element is there to assist the user when pushing these large pegs into the ground.

Once fully installed the corkscrew will act as an additional anchor for the Dry Rainge due to the greater surface area at the bottom of the peg. The four pegs have been appropriately positioned to the right of each corner of the Dry Rainge the ratchet straps can be added and tightened.

The simple but effective ratchet strap system enables the user to achieve tension and security. This system anchors the Dry Rainge and makes moving the canopy for short distances achievable with the wheel kit should the club choose to add that system also.

Wheels Kit

The wheel’s kit works on a jockey wheel type approach, whereby the wheels can be raised out of position when not in use.

When the Dry Rainge is been moved the Jockey Wheel system enables the canopy to be lifted just above the ground to move a short distance before been gently lowered and re-secured in position using the appropriate fixing kit.

The jockey wheel add-on does not alter the structure or performance of the frame. The wheels are mounted just away from the main canopy metal work using a sturdy additional metal bar to support the wheel. The wheel’s kit can be fitted when we initially install a Dry Rainge or as a retro-fit if it is found the canopy requires wheels at a later date.

It is important to note this system is designed to cope with moving the Dry Rainge for short distances only. Moving the canopy over longer distances or at higher speed puts greater pressure on certain areas of the Dry Rainge frame which we would not advise.
