Congratulations to Gerrards Cross Golf Club on the installation of their latest new training facility. A 3 bay Dry Rainge with wheels became the clubs latest training asset in late January.
The Dry Rainge will offer shelter and protection at for one of the clubs practice areas. The Dry Rainge was the perfect choice for this particular environment as it could be fitted with wheels. The practice area is a nice level area fitted with a fairly long strip of grass tee matting.
The Dry Rainge’s capability to move short distance to different areas of the matting enables the surrounding ground to be rested in some area. The wheels option also enables players to play shots from slightly different angles at different stages in their training.
Gerrard Cross’ new training facility is to become a new asset to the professional team and members alike. The cover offering a protected, dry place to play at any time of year. This unique new facility is we feel slightly nicer than playing in the confines of a driving range as it allows players to still get out on the course in the pouring rain!
We are happy to report the installation ran smoothly… eventually. This was following a particularly wet and windy January making it incredibly difficult to complete the installation, even though once installed the weather was nothing the Dry Rainge couldn’t handle!
